PHYSICAL EDUCATION AND HEALTH – Full Time, Term 2 2025
Rodney College is a diverse and vibrant semi-rural community committed to doing the very best for each of our students. We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Health & Physical Education Teacher to join our team in Term 2, 2025.
This full-time role offers the opportunity to engage students in practical learning experiences that enhance their physical fitness, health knowledge, and overall well-being through hands-on activities, structured challenges, and meaningful discussions.
The successful candidate will:

Curriculum Expertise - Demonstrate proficiency in delivering the health and physical education learning outcomes as outlined in the New Zealand Curriculum.

Programme Development - Design and implement engaging programmes that inspire students, with the flexibility to introduce and integrate new initiatives.

Cultural Integration - Incorporate diverse cultural perspectives and historical contexts into lessons, enriching students' understanding and appreciation of our shared heritage.

Collaborative Engagement - Work effectively with colleagues in a fun supportive learning environment, embracing and sharing fresh ideas.

Essential qualifications and requirements:

NZ teacher registration.

Full understanding of the NZ Curriculum.

NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
